In past years I wrote you posts all about ”what I’ll wear for the holiday” or ”connecting a look with the holiday”. This year I want to share with you something more personal.
Pesach comes in Spring and brings a feeling of newness, new beginnings. For me, it somehow always signals a new chapter in my own life:)
Two years ago I left my sciences studies for the world of fashion. Last year I left the status of being solely a business employee. And this year…
Well, this year I see myself facing another big change, part of which has brought me to being on my own.
Stylists, just starting out, will fully sympathize with my decision of two years ago, to go with it: Become a stylist and blogger, but while working at another regular job. When we start out, our work is patchy. And mostly for gratis. So it makes sense, to hold on to a fulltime job, with a steady income for economic stability and keeping you busy on quieter days.
Thank G-d two years have passed while I have slowly developed my own touch in styling and blogging, and in the meantime held down a regular job. But now, right before Pesach, I’ve decided there’s enough going on in my chosen and very much loved profession to be able to significantly cut my other job to minimum. And so, I’m on my way!
I’d like to use this little stage of mine to turn to each of you, just starting out and dreaming, to say, take your time. At your own pace and making a sincere effort, you’ll definitely get there!
A happy and kasher Pesach to all of you, my special friends.
